We require an experienced Service Manager who can demonstrate proven leadership, sound organizational, management and financial skills. Previous Volkswagen, Audi, BMW or Porsche experience would be considered a benefit, particularly if within the Middle East.
As Service Manager you must have a ‘Hands-On’ approach, and provide strong leadership and people communication skills to manage the systems and processes that will ensure you motivate the multi-cultural staff to operate efficiently and profitably while meeting the manufacturers exacting CSI standards.
The company handles a high number of Service/Repair jobs per month, so other responsibilities will be to introduce new initiatives to ensure quality control is beyond customer expectations, that work-in-progress is kept to the bare minimum, warranty claims submitted correctly and direct contact with influential customers.
Your past experience should enable you to take full responsibility for the preparation, implementation and achievement of P&L budgets, daily operational controls, and staffing levels including the planning of associated management and technical training.
You will also negotiate marketing plans and operational budgets with the principals, equipment suppliers and the manufacturers to ensure continual growth and development of all Service facilities and personnel.
Above all, you must be flexible enough to react fast to urgent needs in a fiercely competitive and expanding market.
