National Sales and Marketing Manager - Saudi Arabia
United Motors Co. is the sole distributor for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are also the largest distributor for Chrysler in the Middle East and have won many manufacturer awards for outstanding achievements in Sales performance, Parts sales and the implementation of the Chrysler CSI programme.
As one of the largest companies in the Saudi automotive market, United Motors employs more than 450 highly trained and experienced staff in nine company owned retail branches and they have appointed a network of authorised dealers throughout the Kingdom to extend its services to clients.
A number of new models are being introduced to strengthen Chrysler’s increasing market share and this gives a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join one of the fastest growing and most progressive Motor Groups in Saudi, where the infrastructure is changing with international investment and providing huge business opportunities.
We want to meet a winner, who would be totally committed to achieving new car sales targets – a highly talented, hugely ambitious person able to demonstrate over-achievement and knowledge of all sales disciplines in a high-volume sales environment and at the same time showing care for retail and corporate customers.
There is a challenge - leadership and motivation skills will be needed to exceed the annual target of 3,000 new units by guiding and developing the team of some 35 multi-national sales executives. To succeed and influence the bottom-line, you must be able to demonstrate clear ‘hands-on’ leadership skills in implementing strategies and procedures. These will include the control of the daily activities of the showrooms and the outdoor Fleet Sales with a full knowledge of Sales Planning, Order Planning and an effective New and Used Car sales procedure is essential.
The position will require continual interface with Chrysler principals in Dubai and other overseas locations, so your negotiation skills in pricing policy, vehicle supply and marketing support will be critical to continued success.
You will also be responsible for below the line advertising of 3 Brands of Motor Vehicles with an annual budget of around $2 million. Also the supervision of a team of analysts whose responsibilities include the collection of essential market research including demographics, customer profiles, competitors pricing and specifications.
There will be the additional responsibility for co-coordinating Chrysler’s new corporate identity programme plus various outdoor events such as Motor shows, Showroom launches and Shopping Mall exhibitions.
And for developing and implementing appropriate communication plans and programmes through co-coordination with the various ad agencies used by the manufacturers.
